Post-surgical physiotherapy

Our post-surgical physiotherapy services provide evidence-based rehabilitation to support your recovery following surgical procedures. We work closely with your surgical team to develop individualized treatment plans that address pain management, restore mobility, rebuild strength, and improve functional outcomes.

Treatment typically begins with gentle movements and progresses gradually as healing allows, focusing on safe exercises, manual therapy techniques, and education to optimize your recovery trajectory.

Our goal is to help you return to your daily activities with confidence while minimizing complications and promoting long-term wellbeing.

All interventions are grounded in current clinical research and tailored to your specific procedure, stage of healing, and personal goals.

Non-surgical physiotherapy

Our non-surgical physiotherapy services provide evidence-based assessment and treatment for a wide range of musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiorespiratory conditions that do not require surgical intervention. We focus on identifying the root causes of pain and dysfunction through comprehensive evaluation.

Treatment approaches may include manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise programs, education about self-management strategies, and modalities when appropriate..

Our goal is to reduce pain, improve movement and function, prevent recurrence, and empower you with knowledge and tools to manage your condition effectively.

We work collaboratively with you to establish realistic goals and develop personalized treatment plans that respect your individual needs, preferences, and lifestyle. All interventions are grounded in current best evidence and clinical guidelines.

Elderly Strengthening & Mobility

Our Older Adults Strengthening session is a supervised exercise program designed specifically for older adults seeking to maintain or improve their strength, balance, flexibility, and overall functional ability. The program focuses on safe, progressive exercises that target key muscle groups important for daily activities and fall prevention.

Each session includes a warm-up, strength training using appropriate resistance (such as resistance bands, light weights, or bodyweight), balance exercises, flexibility work, and a cool-down. Sessions are led by qualified professionals who ensure exercises are performed safely and provide modifications as needed for individual abilities and limitations.

Beyond physical benefits, the session offers a supportive social environment where participants can work out at their own pace.  Regular participation in such programs has been associated with improved mobility, greater confidence in movement, enhanced independence in daily activities, and better quality of life for many older adults.

Common Questions

What should I expect during my first home-based physiotherapy session?

Your first session involves a comprehensive assessment of your medical history and physical condition. We will discuss your goals and develop a personalized treatment plan specifically for your recovery needs in the comfort of your home.

How long does each physiotherapy session typically last?

Standard rehabilitation sessions usually last for 60 minutes. This duration ensures we have ample time for both physical therapy exercises and discussing your progress and ongoing home exercise management.

Do I need a doctor's referral to begin physiotherapy at home?

While a referral is not strictly necessary for private physiotherapy, it is recommended if you have recently undergone surgery. We work closely with your medical team to ensure your rehab protocol aligns with their recommendations.

What equipment do I need to prepare for my home visits?

You don't need to prepare specialized equipment. Our physiotherapists bring the necessary portable therapeutic tools. We just recommend a quiet space with enough room for a treatment table or floor-based exercises if required.

Can I book sessions at the partner clinic instead of my home?

Yes, we offer flexible rehabilitation options. While we specialize in home-based care, sessions can be arranged at our venue partner if you prefer a traditional clinical environment or require specific gym-based equipment.
