Kendrick made a mid-career switch from Human Resources to Physiotherapy in 2015, driven by a growing interest in helping people move and live better. He completed his Diploma in Physiotherapy at Nanyang Polytechnic in 2018 before pursuing a degree conversion at Glasgow Caledonian University, where he graduated with First Class Honours in 2020.
He began his physiotherapy career in St Luke’s Hospital, working across both inpatient and outpatient settings. As a result, Kendrick has experience managing a wide range of conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation, stroke recovery, cancer rehabilitation, and musculoskeletal issues. He then made a transition into private physiotherapy at Heartland Rehab Choa Chu Kang to further enhance his knowledge and skills.
He enjoys guiding clients through their rehabilitation journey and believes strongly in a holistic approach that addresses both physical recovery and psycho-emotional well-being.
Kendrick has also received recognition for his professionalism and empathy as a clinician, winning awards such as the Singapore Healthcare Quality Service Award, Community Care Excellence Award and the Individual Employee Service Award with his previous organisation.
